PhD position in Environmental Science at Kiel University

The Department of Landscape Ecology at Kiel University is looking for a PhD student to work on the effects of anthelmintics (de-wormers) on plant reproduction.

While it is well-established that anthelmintics have strong side effects on non-target organisms from the class of insects, it just recently emerged that there seem to be also direct negative effects on plant seeds during germination. Thus, the PhD student will investigate the effects of macrocyclic lactone anthelmintics on seed germination and seedling establishment of grassland species.
