PhD position in Environmental Organic Chemistry at SLU

The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) is looking for a PhD researcher in environmental chemistry with focus on bioremediation of DDT-contaminated soil.

The researcher will develop, test, and optimize methods for remediation of DDT-contaminated soil at forest nursery sites. The main direction of the project is bioremediation using lignin-degrading fungi. The project involves setting up and conducting both laboratory tests, bench scale studies and pilot scale experiments in the field.
