The GhEnToxLab at Ghent University is hiring an academic assistant with good knowledge of ecology and ecological modeling, who will also be able to work toward obtaining a PhD degree.

The position entails at least 50% research activities (graduate research leading to a PhD degree), focussing on the development and validation of ecological models for applications in ecotoxicology and ecologically relevant environmental risk assessment. The remaining 50% will be assistance with teaching programs. The appointment starts with two years and is normally – if evaluations are positive – extended to a total of six years.
