Free IIES E-Course: Environmental & Human Health Risk Assessment

The International Institute for Environmental Studies (IIES) offers a free e-course entitled “Environmental & Human Health Risk Assessment”, running every Wednesday from October 24, 2018, to January 16, 2019.

The online lectures cover various topics such as “Environmental Impact Assessment”, “Cancer risks from workplace and environmental chemicals” and “How safe are nanomaterials?”. Each week, a faculty member from one of the contributing universities shares their research and expertise. Contributers to this e-course are University of Tübingen, the Terragraphics International Foundation, University of Twente, Keele University, University of Waterloo, Herriot-Watt University, University of Edinburgh, Johns Hopkins University, BGC Engineering and University of Manitoba.

The lectures will be live each week and will run approximately 30-40 minutes with a Q&A to follow. The e-course is free and available to anyone interested.
